In an attempt to halt the progress of the Covid-19 epidemic in the Murcia region, Manuel Villegas, Head of the regional Department of Health, has announced a limit of six people in any kind of meeting, reunion or party.
The limitation applies to all functions, private or public, unless all the people live in the same house.
This new measure applies to private homes, restuarants and bar terraces reducing the previous permitted number of 10 to six.
He explains that the measure has been introduced principally because the majority of the new infections originate from leisure activities or family reunions.
He also announced a limitation of 30 guests at weddings and 15 at funerals held inside and 25 at funerals in the open air.
