Members of the local government at the Town Hall, led by the Mayor of
Calasparra, Jose Velez, joined a national protest against terrorist violence to
mark the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attack at the Atocha station in
Madrid in which 193 people died.
At exactly 11am, the time of the attack, yesterday, March 11, a minute´s
silence was observed on the steps of the Town Hall in order to show
condemnation, indignation and to reject any form of violence in our society.
