Finally some good news for consumers and businesses alike as petrol prices continue to fall this week by a further 0.3% to reach their lowest level since July last year.
A litre of petrol now costs 1.304 euros which, after four consecutive weeks of descent, is some 7.7% lower in price than the 1.509 euros paid by motorists in February.
Diesel prices have also fallen by 0.4% and a litre now costs I.396 euros. A litre of diesel cost 1.509 euros in February this year.
