From Tuesday this week the price of a bottle of gas fell by almost two euros, some 9.7%, from 17.5 euros to 15.8 euros, and another reduction is predicted in May.
The Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism has published a ministerial order under the new mechanism for fixing the price of butane gas which reduces the price of a bottle for the first time in a year.
Another significant reduction in price is expected to be announced on May 19, five days before the local municipal elections.
The new price includes IVA.
