The President announced an investment of 500,000 euros to safeguard the sustainability of the local rice that will benefit 800 hectares over three years. Rice farmers will be compensated 200 euros per hectare to cover costs incurred by crop rotation, the return of water to the river and the use of traditional varieties such as Bomba and Balilla x Sollana.
