Residents of Valentin are in the midst of preparations for the annual fiestas in honour of Joan the Baptist which begin on Sunday.
There will be four bull runs; four exhibitions of young bulls; religious acts; communal meals; live acts; games and children´s activities plus fireworks.
On June 24, the day of St John, there will be religious ceremonies and on the day of St Peter, Saturday June 29, there will be a bull run, an exhibition of bulls, a motorcycle rally, a mass and procession with fireworks to mark the end of the fiestas.
