The ruling Conservative party, the PP, has lost control of the regional autonomous government of Murcia and the most voted party, the Socialists, will have to pact with other parties for a majority.
The pattern repeated itself all over Spain where the two main parties, the PSOE and the PP, failed to gain majorities in Spain´s regional governments. The remaining votes were fragmented between smaller parties and they will now be called on to either form pacts or coalitions. Who will support who is far from clear.
Back in Murcia the turnout was 72.57% with 5.382 votes counted.
The results were as follows:

Blank Votes 64.
PSOE: 2.563
PP: 1.244.
