The Pope has a granted a petition from the Bishop of Cartagena for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope to celebrate its Jubilee Year this year, 2014.
Pilgrims will be able to celebrate the jubillee throughout the year and at the annual fiesta of Our Lady of Hope on September 8.
