The Socialist Party of Calasparra, will mark International Womens Day on Thursday March 7 by remembering Clara Campoamor, the woman who fought for votes and rights for women in Spain.
”Clara Campamor, the forgotten woman” will be the subject of the homage in the Casa de la Cultura at 7.30pm.
The United Left (IU) in collaboration with the Secretary of IU Equality for the Murcia Region, has organised an interactive workshop, “The role of Women in the Social and Labour Fight,” on March 7 at 8.30pm in the Casa de la Cultura.
Everyone is welcome to both events.
