Local Police are investigating someone who allegedly stole a bag from a car in Calasparra and have recovered the property of another victim of a similar crime locally.
The last incident took place last night wheN a local resident reported to the police that as the occupants of a vehicle were getting inside they left a bag on the seat with the door open. At this point a person who passed nearby took the bag and ran away.
The witness was able to give a good description of the alleged culprit and the clothes he was wearing and officers, who had arrived rapidly at the scene located him in a nearby street. He is currently being investigated and the stolen belongings have been recovered.
The investigation remains open as Local Police examine the statements of local witnesses, video cameras and study the “modus operandi.”
During the invesitation officers were able to uncover another similar incident a few days ago in Calasparra and were able to recover the stolen property.
