Motorists are paying more at the pumps for petrol and diesel following a hike of 1.77%: the third consecutive rise over the last three weeks .
After a period when prices fell continuously the cost of petrol has now reached its highest point for a month at 1.437 euros a litre and diesel at 1.348 euros. Petrol now costs 2.64% more than at the beginning of this year while diesel is 1% cheaper.
