Prices at the pumps have finally fallen for the first time after months and months of gradual rises which include an increase in IVA.
The price of petrol has fallen by 7.2% this week compared to the historic maximum reached last August. Petrol stations are now selling petrol at 1.412 euros a litre and diesel at 1.367 euros. Diesel prices have fallen by 5.4% compared to last September.
Compared to the same date last year fuel prices have increased by 3% and on August 20 they exceeded 1.5 euros a litre for the first time.
