A new ploy by fraudsters to access your credit card does not use SMS or email but personal calls to your telephone number, usually at weekends when the banks are closed.
These are the numbers to look out for; 671387153 and 647043394!!
The caller will alledge there are transactions on your credit card which may be false and in order to cancel them the caller needs your credit card number. If you refuse the fraudster will insist these large amounts and charges will be charged to your card if you don´t cancel them immediately.
In reality they just want to rob you by charging goods to your credit card.
They usually call at weekends when the banks are closed so it is difficult to confirm the «false» transactions.
These fraudsters seek out vulnerable people who will hand over bank details, credit card details and personal details. Please remember no company or bank will ever call and ask for these details ove the phone.
