The procession for the Patron Saints of Calasparra, Abdón and Señen, has been cancelled this year and the figures will be transferred to the Merced church in a vehicle to avoid crowds.
The procession, which usually takes place on June 30, is one of the biggest events on the local calendar and usually attracts crowds of spectators.
It has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
