The Superior Tribunal of Justice of Murcia has ruled that the owners of the finca, Cañaverosa, must replace the metal fence poles around their property with wooden ones to reduce their environmental impact.
The court rejected claims by the owners that the fencing did not require the authorization of the regional administration because it runs parallel to a path and agricultural land, and, that there was no obligation to use wooden rather then metal posts.
The court rulled that it was necessary to seek permission from the administration because the fence was in forestry land.
