The third wave of Covid-19 is pushing our hospitals in the region to breaking point as 71 new patients were admitted to in the last 24 hours.
The death toll also continues to rise as 19 more people died of the virus.
Better news is that the number of confirmed cases has fallen by over 300 over the same period.
In Calasparra there were six new cases diagnosed over the past 24 hours bringing the total number of active Covid-19 cases to 85.
