As the regional Health Authority reports that a 19 year old youth has been admitted to Intensive Care with Covid-19 a spokesperson underlined the importance of getting vaccinated against the virus.
Some 86% of patients admitted to intensive care have not been vaccinated.
Sadly, we must report two more deaths in the region from Covid-19.
One new case of the virus was diagnosed in Calasparra in the last 24 hours. There are currently four active cases.
In Caravaca there are two active cases and one new case diagnosed in the last 24 hours: in Cehegin there are 15 active cases and two new; in Moratalla there are no active cases and no new cases.
