There were 623 new cases of Covid-19 diagnosed in the last 24 hours in the Murcia region, compared to 554 a week ago.
This is the first time since February 28 the number of new cases has exceeded 600.
In patient numbers are down slightly at 93 with 14 in intensive care.
Sadly, a 75 year old man has died of the virus.
There were seven cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Calasparra over the past seven days.
