Calasparra will join the Organ and Bone Marrow Donors Campaign by setting up an «Extraction Point» (Organ Donor and Bone Marrow Biopsy) in the local Medical Centre on May 12 to coincide with the II Regional Day of the Organ and Bone Marrow Donors “3er Match x una Vida”.
The Extraction Point will be open from 9.30am to 11am.
This regional initiative aims to raise awareness and increase the number of donors, especially those aged between 18 and 48 years, a key age for bone marrow transplants.
As part of the programme there will be a Popular Carrera (Public Run) on May 10, open to everyone, in Murcia.
