The Ministry of Health delivered assurances yesterday that “all the over 50´s who want one will have access to the Covid booster vaccination.”
This will also apply to those who received a double vaccination of AstraZeneca.
Six months must pass between the last vaccination and the Covid booster.
This decisión has to be ratified by the Public Health Commission, according to Carolina Daria, Ministry of Health.

In the meantime vaccinations against Covid-19 have begun on children between 5 and 11 years and anyone over 60 years can ask for an appointment at their local Medical Centre to obtain their Covid booster jab.
