One and a half million people in the Murcia region have been infected with Covid-19 at some point during the epidemic, representing one in every five residents.
Tragically, seven people have died of the virus in the last 24 hours, four men and two women, ages 51, 53, 64, 70, 76, 85 and 92 years.
There has also been a sharp rise in the number of people hospitalized with the virus.
