The disabled persons charity, ONCE, brought 200 people to Calasparra this week to mark the World Day of Elderly, Retired and Disabled Peoiple.
Some 200 visitors from all over the region were taken by ONCE to see the local Sanctuary, the Rice Museum and the main streets of central Calasparra.
The General Director of ONCE, Patricia Sanz Cameo, the Delegatye Advisor, Juan Carlos Morejón, and the Territorial Advicsor, Teresa Alajarín, joined other officers of the charity at the celebrations.
The Head of the local Department of Social Services and Elderly People, Antonio Moreno, officially welcomed the party and thanked them for selecting Calasparra for their special day.
