All good things must come to an end and Calasparra bid farewell to the German and French students who have been here «working for Europe» during the past week.
They have visited the Regional Assembly in Cartegena and other important regional and local government centres and have spent the rest of the week studying, with their Calasparrian counterparts, the challenges of the Digital World.
But there has been time for leisure activities as well with a visit to the beach; the Band of Music concert on Saturday, and of course, the Rap Battle on Friday night.
The students come from Dorzdorf in Germany and Riiorges in France. Calasparra is twinned with the two towns and participates in regular cultural and academic exchanges.
