NO SNOW FOR NEW YEAR´S EVE

The last day of 2011 will be marked by unseasonably warm weather, according to the regional Met Office, which predicts temperatures hovering around 20 degrees over the weekend.
Minimum temperatures, which have been around zero over the past few nights, will also rise to around seven or eight degrees near the coast and to around four degrees here in Calasparra.
The high temperatures are a result of a west wind and a heat from the south which make snow on New Year´s Eve highly unlikely. In past years snow has been a common feature at this time of year in North West Murcia.
The warm weather is likely to continue until the middle of next week when temperatures will begin to fall but not dramatically.
Everyone at NEXOnr wishes all our readers a very happy and peaceful New Year.
