It was 26 degrees C in the region of Murcia at six this morning as the heat wave continues and the Met Office warns that barometers could rise to 40 degrees later today.
There are some clouds around and the occasional scattered shower is possible but the Met Office warns the heat will be “suffocating.”
Temperatures are expected to fall slightly tomorrow and the weekend may be a few degrees cooler.
Please heed warnings to take care in the sun and stay inside in the cool during the hottest periods between 12 midday and 8pm.
