NO NEW CASES OF COVID IN CALASPARRA

There were no cases of Covid-19 diagnosed in Calasparra in the last 24 hours. There are currently nine confirmed cases
Although numbers of confirmed cases have been rising in the Murcia region, statistically the region is one of the least affected in Spain at the moment.
However, sadly there were six more deaths in the last 24 hours.

63 in intensive care (65)

(Although numbers have decreased today compared to yesterday, the statistics are considerably higher than before the “Puente” fiesta weekend).

National Statistics for Thursday December 17

1,785,421 confirmed cases (+5763 in the last 24 hours)
48,777 deceased (+789 in the last seven days)

There have been 55,946 cases of Covid-19 diagnosed in the last seven days.

Vaccinations are due to start on December 27. The first vaccinations are likely to be sanitary, health and medical staff and residents and workers in Residential Homes.

The regional Health Authority is meeting on Monday and will announce the limitations and restrictions for the Christmas period.
