NO NEW CASES OF COVID -19 IN CALASPARRA

There were no new cases of Covid-19 diagnosed in Calasparra in the last 24 hours and more than 200 confirmed cases less in the region, however, the number of intensive care patients remains stable and the number of deaths continues to rise.
It was March 18, 2020, when the first Calasparrian was diagnosed with Covid-19. Since then 382 residents have had the virus and there have been eight deaths in our municipal area.
Yesterday there were 56 active cases in Calasparra, five less than the previous 24 hours, and no new cases.
The first phase of vaccinations has been completed and all residents and staff at the local OAPs Residence have been vaccinated and all the staff at the local Medical Centre.
The next phase will be the vaccination of severely disabled and dependent people.
According to the publicly owned television channel (la primera) the first phase of vaccinations at OAPs and Disabled People´s Residences is beginning to have effect with a 50% fall in contagions reported.
