The number of new cases diagnosed in the 24 hours ending at midnight on Wednesday has also fallen by over 100, from 735 on Monday to 620 on Wednesday. However in patienb numbers are slightly up, from 198 to 216 and there are 13 patients in intensive care.
The death toll from Covid-19 remains the same as on Monday at 2,340.
There were nine active cases of the virus registered in Calasparra across all groups over the past seven days. In Caravaca there were 36 cases; Cehegin 39; Bullas 15; and Moratalla five.
