EARTHQUAKE
An earthquake of 3.2 on the Richter scale, with its epicentre in Los Montesinos in Alicante, woke many residents in Alicante and the Murcia region in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Tremors were reported in various areas of Murcia including the capital and Beniel.

The United Left and Green Party have re-elected the existing candidate, Ricardo Garcia, as the mayoral candidate for the local elections in May.
MOUNTAIN GOATS ON LOS LOMAS
A flock of wild mountain goats has been reported grazing on the flanks of the hills surrounding the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope, known as Los Lomas.
These rare animals are normally spotted deep in the highest peaks around Calasparra and so are usually only seen by climbers and mountain walkers.
