Calasparra has received 18,000 euros in funding from CARM to renew signposting on footpaths and walking routes and to signpost the new Rice Field Trails.
The Director General of CARM told Radio Calasparra that as well as signposting the new Rice Trails all signs which have become obsolete or which have deteriorated on footpaths and those on emblematic buildings will be renewed.
“Calasparra Town Hall has presented this Project for a new line of funding designed for populations of less than 20,000 to improve the quality of services and encourage economic development. In total 29 of the projects have been approved, he said.
The local administration has a year to complete the new signposting work.
