The new president of the governing boy of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope was elected at a special meeting on Sunday following the investiture of the nine new commitee members.
The new President, Antonio Jose´Egea Lopez, told Radio Calasparra he was “very
nervous” at the prospect of his new responsbilitites.
Some 597 people voted in the elections which were open to any resident over the age of 18 years. The votes were distributed as follows:-
