The Mayoress of Calasparra, Teresa Garcia, has officially opened the new Calasparra Musuem with spaces dedicated to the architect, Emilio Pérez Piñero, Archeology , Etnography and Calasparra Rice D.O.P
A multitud of local residents, including members of assoiations and groups in the town who have contributed to the Musuem, attended the event.
The Musuem is housed in the same building as the Casa Granero in Calle Mayor completing a space dedicated to the historic, cultural and patrimonial legacy of Calasparra, which testify to the singularity of the men and woman of the area.
According to the Town Hall: » This is not a musuem of objects, nor a warehouse of pieces, but a place which records the lives and customs of many generations which have made us what we are.»
