The Company, Nutripeople, has officially opened the first food processing plant in the world, which produces a complete food product for the disadvantaged.
Nutripeople has benefited from the support of the regional government, which has invested 400,000 euros in the project.
The product has been developed by the company from vegetables and fruit and provides all the nutrients that a person requires daily, explained the founder, Enrique Gomez Gomez.
The factory, in Calasparra, can produce 42 million packs annually in three formats.
The Mayor of Calasparra, Jose Velez, who attended the inauguration, declared his support for the project and welcomed the jobs the new venture would provide.
