The regular disinfecting and cleaning of streets, square and public spaces such as parks and recreation areas continues to be carried out by staff from the Calasparra Town Hall Municipal Services team as part of the security measures to keep us all safe from the Covid-19 virus.
This is particularly important these days as we are all restricted to the municipal area.
The regional Health Authority and the local Medical Centre have both appealed for residents to stay at home whenever possible and restrict journeys out of the house to a minimum in an attempt to try and curb the number of contagions in Calasparra and the region.
The bars and restaurants remain closed but many are providing a take away service.
