The local association, Calasparra Se Mueve, has raised 2,021 euros for cancer research by fundraising in Calasparra.
The cheque will be presented to Jose Luis Alonso Romero, Chief of the Investigation Group at the Oncology Clinic and Translational Research at IMIB, at Calasparra Town Hall on Monday January 17.
There will be no public ceremony or press conference due to the current health crisis in the region.
