Calasparrians filled the streets yesterday in Calasparra for the III Pink March, organized by the association, Calasparra, Se Mueve, to demand improvements in employment legislation for victims of breast cancer and to raise funds for cancer research.
Organised with the collaboration of Calasparra Town Hall, the more than 1,000 marchers stopped at the Rice Grower´s Fountain to dress the statue with the emblematic t-shirt of the Pink March.
During the march a manifesto was read demanding improvements in the legislation affecting employees with breast cancer and improvements in the personal aspects of their lives.
