The Christmas illuminations in the town centre will be inaugurated tonight, Friday, to mark the beginning of the festivities in Calasparra.
The Town Hall has announced that the illuminations have been reduced in the light of the crisis.
Star of every Christmas here in Calasparra is the Municipal Belen ( Nativity) in the Cine Rosales which will be officially opened on December 21, with traditional songs from the local pensioners music group.
And on December 24 Santa Claus will pay the town a visit on Christmas Eve handing out gifts to local children in the town centre.
Also on Christmas Eve there will be a special mass in the Saints Church and the distribution of the Light of Peace around the town.
The Galindo Foundation has announced two Christmas concerts:
December 21 with pupils of the Foundation on flute, piano and with vocals. Municipal Auditorium at 8pm.
December 27 a Grand Concert with violin and piano. Municipal Auditorium at 8pm.
