The regional government of Murcia has introduced extraordinary measures in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic and in accordance with the national State of Alarm.
They are:
The maximum occupation inside bars and restaurants is 30% with no limit on terraces but with distance between tables. It is recommended that Town Hall´s extend the space available for bar terraces.
Local shops and services offering service to the public have a maximum permitted occupation of 50% and streets markets may not have more than 75% of authorized stalls.
The maximum occupation of hotels, hostels and other tourist accommodation is one third of habitual capacity.
Due to the national curfew the restriction on the movement of people will be extended to establishments and activities open to the public between 11pm and 6am except those providing indispensable services.
The limit on the maximum number of people in social reunions is maintained at six, in public or private, and it is recommended that these reunions are kept to a minimum, avoid being held in enclosed spaces, use masks and avoid crowds.
Eating and drinking in public spaces is banned where social distancing is not possible.
Visits to residencies for the elderly, disabled people etc is restricted to exceptional circumstances and should take place in exterior areas or areas specially prepared.
Admissions to residences are suspended as our readmissions and transfers except in emergencies or for medical reasons.
Day Centres remain closed and users will receive services via the telephone, telematics or home visits. Hairdressing and chiropody services are suspended.
Day Centres for Disabled people will be limited to groups of 2 to 3 people. Centres for child development and temporary attention will continue to see clients.
Businesses and companies are asked to facilitate working from home to avoid risks.
All visits to student accommodation are suspended and communal areas are limited to one third of capacity.
It is recommended that weddings and other celebrations are postponed but it would be possible to hold them if the maximum number of people was 30 outside or inside. Everyone must remain seated at all times.
Libraries, archives, museums, exhibition centres, monuments and other cultural centres will have a maximum occupation of 50%. This is also applicable to cinemas, theatres, circuses and any other public activity outside or inside.
All municipal sports schools and after school sports activities are suspended.
Federal sport activities for under and over 18´s is limited to training. All competitions are suspended. Inside swimming pools are limited to one third capacity.
It is recommended that meetings, conferences etc are carried out over the Internet.
