The Mayoress of
Calasparra, Teresa García, has reminded residents that they must strictly adhere
to restrictions on movement imposed by the national State of Alarm.
«We cannot relax.It is more important than ever to be responsible,” she
said.
Three official complaints have been filed against people in Calasparra for failing
to comply with the order of confinement decreed by the national government: two
by the Guardia Civil and one by the local police.
Although there have been no cases of coronavirus reported in Calasparra the
Mayoress emphasised that the health authorities only provided “global
statistics for the region.”
Extreme cleaning measures are being undertaken by the Town Hall in Calasparra including
cleaning the ground with disinfectant in central town.
