The Mayoress of Calasparra, Teresa Garcia, speaking on Radio Calasparra
this week, has renewed her call to residents to obey the regulation that
requires them to stay at home.
Noting that there had been 100 “denuncias” in Calasparra for failing to comply
with the regulations, 12 on Wednesday alone, she declared she was “very worried”
by the high number of coronavirus cases
in Calasparra.
“For our part we are doing everything we can,” she said, announcing that that
afternoon farmers would return to disinfect the streets.
Thanking all the “immense majority” residents who were obeying the regulations
the Mayoress insisted that residents:
Maintain distance from one another
Only go out when it was absolutely necessary making one shopping trip to last
over several days.
Frequently wash hands
Follow the recommendations and
STAY AT HOME
