The Mayor of Calasparra, José Velez, met with the Head of the EDLP Fund for Rural Development this week.
They discussed a programme of integral rural development which affects North West Murcia and the River Mula area, Lorca and the Sierra Espuña.
The EDLP forms part of the European Leader Fund and is available for rural development activities such as: improving access to new information technologies and communication; improving the competitiveness of small and medium sized businesses; the production of renewable energy for individuals and energy efficiency in businesses; and cooperation between prívate interests.
