The Mayor of Calasparra, Jose Velez, spoke of tradition and history in his official speech opening the Fiestas of the Patron Saints of Calasparra, Abdon and Senen.
The Mayor underlined the traditional nature and the varied programme of these typical fiestas and cried: “Viva St Abdon, Viva St Senen!” in a call to all residents to come and enjoy the festivities.
