It is obligatory to wear a mask when outside your home from today, July 13, in the Murcia region.
Anyone found not wearing a mask faces a 100 euro fine.
This is the latest measures introduced in several autonomous communities in response to the new clusters of Coronavirus contagions all over Spain.
From today masks must be worn in all open or closed public spaces which basically means you cannot leave your home without wearing one.
There are a few exceptions such as when eating and/or drinking in bars and restaurants; when doing sport; or on beaches and in swimming pools.
Before this measure mask were only obligatory where social distancing was impossible. This rule has now changed and even where it is possible to stay two metres from someone else in public you are obliged to wear a mask.
