MASKS ARE HERE TO STAY IN SPAIN

According to one of the main national newspapers in Spain, El Pais, the Government is preparing a draft law for the “new normality” in order to contain the virus.
According to the newspaper the Government will be seeking the approval of Congress next Tuesday for a law which makes wearing masks obligatory in enclosed spaces and public transport after the State of Alarm ends on June 21.
The draft also includes fines of 100 euros for failing to wear a mask when required by law.
The law will be passed onto the Autonomous communities, such as Murcia, to give full details.
Autonomous Communities must also guarantee to provide an adequate number of beds and the capacity to carry out PCR testing.
The draft law also provides norms for workers´ safety with obligatory distancing and “adequate protection at the same level as the risk.”
