After 12 days of industrial action, which collapsed the entry roads to Cartagena, the self-employed lorry drivers have called off the strike.
The stoppage was threatening food shortages for supermarkets and bars and causing hardship for farmers who could not move their produce.
The Unions met the Government yesterday to negotiate help with increased petrol prices and an agreement was reached.
