Calasparra Town Hall is organizing the III Campaña Arqueológica (Archeological Campaign) on the Cerro de la Virgen and is advertising for volunteers.
There is no limit to the number of local volunteers who can take part in the third phase of the archeological dig where, among other significant finds, the remains of probably the first Christian church in the region were discovered.
The signing on period has opened for local volunteers for the first turn between July 1 and 15. Volunteers will be covered by accident insurance.
Anyone interested must send a CV and a brief explanation of their motives of interest to david.martinez-chico@uv.es
Signing on is open until June 30.
This is an opportunity to form part of the Archeological Camp and participate in investigations into the late antique period on one of the most important archeological sites in Calasparra.
