Local police have moved their headquarters from inside the Town Hall to the former Post Office premises at 27, Juan Ramón Jiménez.
The new main number for the local poliuce is: 968 746 007.
Although the police will maintain an office at the Town Hall where there will usually be a police officer on duty, the general work and public services will be carried out from the new premises.
José Pepe Velez, Head of Local Security, told Radio Calasparra, the former premises were so cramped they neither served the police nor the public.
He added that althoug there would normally be a police officer available in the old premises inside the Town Hall the general public could always find a police officer on duty in the Town Centre or attend the new premises.
