The local police are monitoring and
controlling that local shoppers are complying with the obligatory control
measures introduced to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
Police officers are stopping cars, vans, motorbikes and pedestrians
to ensure residents are complying with the restrictions on freedom of movement.
Residents are only permitted to circulate for one of the following reasons and
any of the activities listed below or activities of a similar nature must be carried out on an individual
basis unless accompanying a disabled person or for another justifiable reason:
To buy food, products from the chemist and staples
and essential goods.
To attend health centres, services and hospitals.
To go to and from work..
To assist in the care of elderly people,
minors, dependents and other vulnerable people:
Go to the bank or insurance agency.
Walk your dog and fill your car with petrol.
In case of emergency or extreme necessity.
The local police are also monitoring those shops which are allowed to
open to ensure they comply with the security and hygiene measures and the
limitations on the number of shoppers at any one time.

and form part of the 15 day State of Alarm period introduced by the national
government of Spain.

you carry legal ID (passport) and NIE or Residency certificates when going out
while the State of Alarm lasts. For tourists, we suggest you consider carrying
passports, proof of location of your lodgings, booking confirmation or similar.
