The local police have published the following advice on the obligatory use of face masks introduced in the Region of Murcia from today, Monday July 13.
Today the obligatory wearing of face masks in any public space, even where social distancing is possible, came into effect.
All citizens must adopt this measures during any activity in public.
The use of the mask is obligatory.
Social distancing of 1.5m is obligatory.
The mask must cover the nose and mouth.
Masks will not be obligatory for:
Minors of six years or less
People with respiratory problems
People with disability or dependence
While practicing sport in the open air
Emergencies or situations of necessity
When, by its own nature, use is incompatible
When drinking or eating
On beaches or in swimming pools (outside water remains recommended)
Face shields are recommended when masks cannot be used
Sharing hookahs is prohibited
During all activities in public social distancing of 1.5m must be respected.
