Love of music is alive and well in Calasparra as the local Music School makes history by enrolling more students than ever this term.
The Head of the Department of Culture, Cristina Trujillo, said: “The love of music in Calasparras is obvious in an institutiion that offers three especialities and has thirteen music teachers.”
Recently renamed the Escuela Municipal de Música “Músico José Moreno, el Morenico,” in honour of a local musician, the school will have 196 pupils this term.
